The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped A.W.W.Co, Waltham Mass, 15 jewels and it also has the serial number 17612526 which dates it back to 1909. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
This case has blue Roman numerals to the front cover. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The inner lens is glass and light surface marks from the outer cover although very acceptable. The white enamel dial is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands designed so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed … with conventional hands, it would be impossible to tell which hand was which through the small lens.
