The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a high grade Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped Advance, 15 jewels, 2 adjustments, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the front cover at 3'clock, but overall it is in nice condition for its age.

The front cover has Roman numerals around a small plastic lens. The numerals are filled with black enamel - some of the enamel has fallen out over the years although hardly noticeable. The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial with a plastic lens which is in good condition. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark. Blued steel hands designed so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed … with conventional hands, it would be impossible to tell which hand was which through the small lens.
