Rare Pre Ww1 British Army Issue Pocket Watch by W Eberhardt of London No D39240, Circa 1910

Description

For sale this rare pre WW1 British Army issue pocket watch by W Eberhardt of London no D39240, circa 1910. The movement is unusual as the balance is exposed making access for repair quicker. The nickel case shows matching issue numbers thoughout along with the movement. The fully signed dial is in mint undamaged condition and retains its original deep blue hand set. The case is also dent free. The watch has just been serviced and is in full working order. For another watch of this type no D37999 see page 21 of Military Timepieces by Z M Wesolowski. Very rare in this condition.
