A Gents 1950s Certina Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Certina wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss Certina hand-winding movement, calibre 320, which is working nicely. It is protected by an inner cover.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so a good size for a watch from the 1950s. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition. The case back is signed inside with the Certina name. Both the case and the lens are in good condition.

The signed dial has a charming two tone finish which gives the watch plenty of character. There is some marking and some darkening to the numers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
