Gents 1950s English 9ct Gold Smiths De Luxe Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s 9 carat gold Smiths De Luxe wrist watch, made in England.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped ‘Made in England’.

The watch measures 30.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1959, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition and the back has a British Rail long service presentation engraving.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has a little marking. Original blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch has a new brown leather strap.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
