The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal with gold highlights. The case has some marking but overall is in good condition for its age, especially for a gun metal case as often they can be prone to corrosion. The inside of the case back has the early Omega logo.
The lens is in good order.
The signed white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack running through number 11, and a small patch of short and very faint hairlines at number 4 but they are difficult to see with the naked eye.
The watch comes on a woven hair watch albert with swivel, which is probably a little earlier in date than the watch but they sit very nicely together.
