The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The pocket watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The nicely jewelled movement is unsigned. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is Swiss .800 silver and there are Swiss .800 silver marks on the inner and outer covers. The case has light surface marks from use and a mild unevenness to the back.
The glass lens is in good condition with only the odd minor mark from use.
The watch has ornate gold coloured hands.
