The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch itself measures 27mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27mm high excluding the lugs… it would suit a man with a slim wrist or it would work nicely as a lady’s watch. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Glasgow (import mark) 1926 with a maker’s mark for Sylvain Dreyfus. The case is in good condition for such an early piece, just a small knock to the top left hand corner of the bezel.

The lens has light marks but is very acceptable.
The dial is in its original finish and it has a nice look with blued steel hands, a textured finish and outer minute markers picked out in gold paint. Again, there is a little marking but nothing too detrimental.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
