French Decorative Carriage Clock (France, C. 1890)

Description

A pretty French carriage clock made in the late 19th Century. It as a cast brass frame inset with decorated metal panels on a wood case. The enamel dial has ornate pierced hands and a plain alarm arm. It has a 3 day tic tac movement with an alarm mechanism and was made by Japy Frere and has reference to their 1878 "Grand Prix Hrologerie"

Current Condition

The case is in godd original condition and the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guarnteed for 12 months.
