The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Buren stem-winding movement (19 35/12) which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
The back of the case has a couple of small indentations and a very slight unevenness but overall very acceptable.

The watch glass has the odd short scratch but nothing too detrimental at all.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, J G Graves of Sheffield. It is in lovely condition with blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a silver double albert with each chain measuring 24cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch comes in a vintage mahogany box, originally from Oertling of London, manufacturer of balances and scales.
