1920s Tacy Full Hunter Pocket Watch, Albert & Fob

Description

A 1920s Tacy full hunter pocket watch together with a double albert and fob.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 998, which is working well. The name Tacy comes from a combination of TAvannes and CYma. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold filled case was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company and it is in very nice condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens over a white enamel dial which has a couple of very faint hairline cracks. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes on a double albert with a handsome fob.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
