Striking Walnut Vienna Regulator by Lenzkirch

Description

A good quality, impressive VIENNA REGULATOR WALL CLOCK in perfect working order by Lenzkirch.

The handsome case is of solid walnut with an architectural pediment; carved Corinthian columns flanking the glazed door and turned finials to the base. The 8-day movement strikes hours and half-hours on a gong, whilst the enamel dial is perfect. Splendid original condition throughout. 52ins high overall; 18ins wide; 9ins deep.

*The Lenzkirch Clock factory was founded by Eduard Hauser in 1825 and the factory, based in the small town of Lenzirch in the Black Forest region of Germany came into full production in 1860.
