Here we have a smart bracket clock in need of a little tidying. It is in nicely figured mahogany and dates from around 1840.
The arch toped case has applied carved decoration and stands on smart carved bun feet. It has a cast brass bezel and convex glass.

The good quality chain twin fusee has shouldered plates and strikes the hours on a bell. It is complete with pendulum and a period winding key.
There are some small pieces of carved decoration missing and some fine shrinkage cracks to the top. The minute hand is broken but all there.

The case is a nice original colour and the movement is in running order.
