Description

A nicely proportion and well made grandmother clock, dating to George V period. It has a serpentine shape top with a break arch dial, a quartered veneer door and base and an ogee shaped base. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring and Tempus fugit disc (Latin for Time flies). The German made 8 day movement has a long cylinder pendulum and sounds the quarters on two different chimes, Whittington on 8 chime bars and Westminster (Big Ben) on four chime bars. It has a tune selector and a chime/silent lever on the dial.

Current Condition

The case has been repolished and wax finished, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock chiming and working please email us.
