Worboys Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The two piece white enamel dial has spade hands. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong, it has a dead beat escapement for accurate time keeping and maintaining power so when wound it it does not lose time. It was made by Lenkirch of The Black Forest in Germany and is numbered 1,620092 dating it to 1909.
Current Condition
The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been fully restored in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. The weight and pendulum have been polshed and lacquered sothey will not tarnish. If you would like to hear this clock striking and see it working please email us for a video clip.
