Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has an attractive painted dial. It has subsidiary seconds and date dials and moon phase indicator to the arch.

The case is in good unrestored condition but does need a little tidying. One patria is missing from the hood and there is the odd veneer chip etc.
The movement is running and the moon mechanism is working. It is complete with weights and pendulum but could probably do with a service.
