A 1930s Cortebert Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1930s Cortebert full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality calibre 528 stem-winding movement, 17 jewels, three adjustments, which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is decorated on both the front and the back, with the back having an image of a stag.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good order, just a couple of small nibbles to the bevelled edge. The white enamel dial is in lovely condition and the shaped blued steel hands are a particularly handsome feature.

The watch comes on a chain which measures 23cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
