A Ww2 Gents Zenith Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A WW2 gents Zenith wrist watch.

The watch has a 12.4-P hand-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed and the serial number dates it back to 1941/42.

The watch is a good size at 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated with a stainless steel snap-on case back. There is some pitting / marking to the bezel and some wear to the back of the lugs but overall it is acceptable for a World War 2 piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial has been professionally re-finished (in the UK) to a very high standard. It has its original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
