The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The watch has a key winding movement which is working well. A winding key is included. The movement is numbered 203677 and it has its original dust cover.

The watch measures 55.2 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case has Birmingham hallmarks for 1882 with the case makers mark W.G.H (William George Hammon Coventry). The case is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch lens is glass and has faint surface marks from use.
The white enamel dial is signed Improved Patent.
