A Gents Ww2 Tissot Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A gents WW2 Tissot wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed with the Tissot name and it has the serial number 1,511,636 which dates it back to 1944.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so a good size for a piece from this era. The case is plated with a stainless steel back and it is in good condition for a 1940s piece with just the odd minor mark.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition and the outer minute track is a handsome feature. Slim feuille shaped hands (with a little marking) and centre seconds hand.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
