Large 19th Cent Gilt Bronze and White Marble Mantle Clock

Description

A large and impressive gilt bronze and white marble mantle clock in need of attention. It is probably French and dates from the second half of the 19th Cent.

The case is in reasonable condition but does have the odd screw missing and cupids bow needs a little repair. The movement strikes the hours and half hours on a bell and has an unusually large convex white enamel dial. The clock runs but only strikes intermittently so it needs an overhaul.
