The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Hamilton purchased Huguenin in 1959 in the hope of increasing their share of the market, and Henry Huguenin was appointed company director. Huguenin manufactured watches under the Hamilton name as well as continuing to make top-quality watches under their own name.

This particular watch has an automatic movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with the thicker 20 microns of gold. The case is in good condition with just some wear to the plate on the lugs, although not too noticeable at all to the naked eye as the base metal is a similar shade of gold.
The lens is in good condition.
A nicely signed dial with original hands, centre seconds and an outer minute marker.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
