Large Edwardian Striking and Repeating Carriage Clock (France, C. 1905)

1900 - 1920
Description

A large gilt brass carriage clock dating to the early 20th Century. It has having a gilded brass case, with reeded columns, top and base embossed gilt banded panels and corner finials. The dial has a engraved dial mask, with an enamel chapter ring. The 8 day movement has a lever platform and strikes the hours and halves on a gong and repeats the hour by depressing the repeater button located on top of the case.

Current Condition

The original gilt case has been cleaned, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
