A Gents 1950s Omega Seamaster Wristwatch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Omega Seamaster wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 420, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and it has the serial number 14,079,987 which dates it back to around 1954.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just some light scratching to the back. The inside of the screw-on case back has the Omega triangular stamp together with the case reference 2667-10SC which is correct for the calibre 420. The winding crown has the Omega logo.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial has been re-finished at some stage and the luminous is still nice and bright. The hands are later replacements.

The watch comes on stainless steel bracelet which currently fits an 17.5cm wrist.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
