Ww2 Era Omega Pocket Watch and Chain

1920 - 1940
Description

WW2 era Omega pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 38.5L.T1, which is working well. The movement is signed with the Omega name and it has the serial number 9,526,523 which dates it back to the first half of the 1940s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 47.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and while the front is in good condition, there are a handful of small indentations to the case back.

The plastic lens is in good order.

The signed white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack running from 11 down to 5. Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a charming single albert, 27cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
