A Gents 1940s Omega Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A gents 1940s Omega wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 30 T2 PC, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and the serial number 10,415,669 which dates it back to the mid 1940s.

The watch measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The stainless steel case is in good condition and it has the Omega triangular stamp inside together with the case reference 2214/5 which is correct for the 30 T2 movement. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The lens is in good order.

The signed dial is in very nice condition, it appears to have been professionally finished to a very high standard.

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
