For sale is this rare Great Western Railway issue pocket watch no GWR 0540 with matching dial no''s by Limit, pre 1948. This very fine pocket watch retains is original fully signed and numbered dial and is in mint undamaged condition. Original deep blued hand set. The case is engraved with the GWR issue no and shows some wear and a couple of very shallow slight dents which can only be seen when holding the case at an angle against the light. The Limit no 2 movement is in excellent working order keeping accurate time but does show some aged plate wear. The case diameter is approx 54mm without the winding crown. The watch retains its original glass showing usage wear marking. It also comes with probably its original base metal fob chain. A very rare fully numbered set.
