A 1920s Swiss Silver Galonne Cased Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s Swiss pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is .900 silver with a rose gold silver wash around the bezel and the edge of the hinged case back, known as a galonne case. There is also engine turned detail to the case back, along with a vacant cartouche to the centre.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The champagne coloured dial is in its original finish, there are some minor marks if viewed very closely. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
