Gents 1950s Wrist Watch, Harman Watch Co

Description

A gents 1950s wrist watch from the Harman Watch Company.

The watch has a Swiss17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working well. The Harman Watch Company was established in 1933 in New York and they imported movements from Switzerland for casing and subsequent supply for retail.

The watch itself measures 24mm wide excluding the winding crown and 24mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 10k rolled gold and it is in good condition… the shaped sides and lugs are a particularly handsome feature.

The watch has a faceted lens has a small chip to the side and a couple of light scratches but overall is very acceptable.

The dial is in its original finish with all the stones being intact.

A later black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
