Description

A good quality early 20th Century mantel clock in the shape of a Napoleons hat. It has an oak case with a shaped plinth, a convex engraved and silvered dial signed by the original retailer Searle of London. It has a cast brass bezel with a convex bevel edge glass. The 8 day movement has Westminster chimes (Big Ben) and sounds the hours and quarters on chime bars. It has a lever platform and so does not require any setting up.

Current Condition

The case has been cleaned and waxed, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. f you would like a video clip of this clock chiming please email us.
