The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 6,830,923 which dates it back to 1895. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in good condition and has a central vacant cartouche to the back.

The plastic lens is in good order.
The white enamel dial looks good to the naked eye. If viewed closely, there are a couple of hairline cracks above number 12, and a short crack on the edge by number 4.
The watch comes with a silver chain, 39cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the links has the lion passant silver mark.
