Description

A substantial, good quality, classical English bracket clock dating to the end of the 19th Century. It has a pagoda top with a brass finial, mounted on a break arch case, with quartered corner pillars, all with boxwood stringing and a central satinwood inlaid buttefly motif. It has heavy brass adjustable ball feet, fretted side panels and a convex glass with a cast brass bezel and engraved and silvered dial. The heavily engineered double fusee movement sounds the hours and halves on a gong. Complete with its original winding key.

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condition and finish, the dial has been re-silvered, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
