A 1930s Record Genève Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1930s Record Genève pocket watch.

The watch has a calibre 53c stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Record and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem. The case is chrome plated and the back has an Art Deco inspired design with a small cartouche… a previous owner has scratched their initials into it.

The watch glass is in good order.

The white enamel dial has a good look with nicely shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track with a 24 hour dial picked out in blue. The dial is in good condition.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
