Westminster Chime, Mahogany Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A very smart swept top mahogany mantel clock sounding the Westminster Chimes on the quarters and the hour. It has a very crisp, clear strike.

A convex silvered dial with engraved black Roman numerals, fine cut hands and a cast brass bezel with convex bevelled glass.

The swept top mahogany case has turned pillars to the front, a gradooned plinth to the base and swept wooden bracket feet. It retains it's original French polished finish and has a lovely age related patina.

The 8 day English movement has just been fully serviced by our own BHI registered staff.
