WW1 era Moeris gun metal cased trench watch with gold embellishments.

Fritz Moeri and Julius Frederic Jeanneret founded a watch manufacturing company in 1883. After Jeanneret's death, the company was dissolved and Moeri set up on his own company, Fabrique des Montres SA Moeris. Over the years, Moeri was responsible for various patents and innovations, and was in receipt of various awards and accolades. The company was eventually one of several absorbed by the Tissot group as the fight against the new and increasingly popular quartz watches took hold.

This particular watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement with 15 jewels, signed Moeris, and it is working nicely.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the articulated lugs. The case is made of gun metal with gold embellishments. The case is in good condition.

The watch glass has minor marking but overall is in good order.

The white enamel dial is in good condition.

The strap is a later replacement.
