18th Century Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

Fine late 18th Century longcase clock. The case has a break arch hood with side pillasters and brass capitals, a longh a break arch top and a fielded panel base with a scroll plinth. The brass dial has a strike silent feature within the arch and a silvered and engraved centre plate and chapter ring.

The eight day five pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell. Signed Andrews of Enfield c. 1780
