Harris Stone of Leeds Silver Pocket Watch, 1931

1920 - 1940
Description

A silver 1931 pocket watch originally retailed by Harris Stone of Leeds.

The watch has a Swiss key-winding movement which is very clean and is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover which is signed with the Harris Stone, Leeds name.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1931 with a case maker’s mark for the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition.

The watch glass is in very nice condition.

The white dial is signed Harris Stone, Leeds, Non-Magnetic, Swiss Made… it is in very nice condition.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
