The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, probably Swiss, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover upon which is the engraved wording “Remontoir Perfectionne, Cylindre, 10 Rubis” which roughly translates as “Perfect Winding, Cylinder, 10 Jewels”.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has the French crab silver mark.
The case has the odd small indentation but overall is in good condition for an Art Nouveau piece, circa 1900.

The plastic lens is in good order.
The white enamel dial has a good look, especially with the ornate hour and minute hands which are initially set by way of the pin-set mechanism. There is also an outer minute track and a subsidiary seconds dial.
