A Chunky 1905 Waltham Gold Filled Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A chunky 1905 Waltham gold filled pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The high grade movement has a micro regulator and is signed with the American Waltham Watch Company name, 15 jewels, and it has the serial number 14370855 which dates it back to 1905.

The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold filled case was made by the Philadelphia Watch Case Co and was originally guaranteed for 25 years. The case is in nice condition.

The glass watch lens has the odd faint mark but overall it is in nice condition.

The enamel dial is signed Waltham and has black Arabic numerals with a red minute outer chapter ring and is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
