A Vintage 1920s Illinois Art Deco Pocket Watch

Description

A vintage 1920s Illinois gold filled pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped 17 jewels adjusted, Illinois watch co, Springfield and the serial number 4361116 which dates the watch to 1923.

The watch measures 43 mm wide and 43 mm high excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is stamped Star Watch Case Co, 10kt gold filled.. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The silvered dial has raised Arabic numerals and is signed Illinois. The dial is in nice condition with only faint surface marking.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
