Description

Potentially a very handsome longcase clock but now in need of full restoration. It is by Allport of Birmingham and probably dates from the early 19th Cent

The oak and mahogany case is in totally untouched condition and is mostly complete with the exception of the feet, some minor mouldings and other small parts.

The movement is also complete and works with pressure on the wheels. The moon mechanism is present and it works when the hands are rotated. The movement needs a full overhaul and clean. It comes complete with its pendulum and weights.

The maximum dimensions are:

218cm(86“) high

56cm(22“) wide

25cm(10”) deep
