Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The 8 day pendulum movement strikes the half-hours and the hours on a bell. It is signed by the World renowned maker "JAPAY FRERES. PARIS" and has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff.

There is a picture of what appear to be cherubs below the dial.
A very difficult clock to photograph due to the reflection of the chromium.
