The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is signed with the Longines name and is protected by an inner dust cover which is engraved with the name Henri Becquart.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are very small swan marks which means it was imported into France from countries without Customs Conventions, post 1864. This particular watch dates back to around 1900. The outside of the case is beautifully detailed with an image of a heron amongst plants and foliage to the back.

The plastic lens has light surface marks but is very acceptable.
The white enamel dial is in good condition. The hands are initially set by way of the pin set mechanism.
