Description

1919 silver Doxa pocket watch.

The watch has a nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely keeping is good time. The movement is signed Doxa, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.4 mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London (import mark) 1919 with a mark for the watch case importer’s mark A.G.R. (Arthur George Rendell). The case is in lovely condition with engine turned detail to the back with a small vacant cartouche to the centre.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Doxa, Swiss made. The dial has a small nibble to the centre of the sub seconds dial but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
