Antique 1916 Silver Omega Pocket Watch

Antique 1916 silver Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The movement is signed Omega, and it has the serial number 5075582 which dates it back to 1916. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has the Omega name and also images of various medals won.

The watch measures 49 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the inner and outer case back and the Omega logo to the outer case back. The case has a rose gold wash to the front and rear bezel although it has some wear from use. The case is in nice condition with only the odd small "ding" to the outer edge.

The watch lens is plastic and and has the odd minor mark but overall it is in nice condition.

The enamel dial is signed with the Omega name and logo. The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch has its original ornate hands.
