Description

A gents WW1 1915 silver trench watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The jewelled movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 32.7 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and lugs. The case is sterling silver and there are import marks for London 1915 with the importers mark GS (George Stockwell). The case has some marks / mild bruising to the back but overall the condition is good for a WW1 piece.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The watch has an enamel dial which has a faint hairline crack between the centre and 8 o'clock but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.
