Description

A nicely proportioned walnut ting tang bracket clock. It has a solid carved walnut and matched walnut veneer case, in the style of a late 17th Century bracket clock. It has a angled top, a carved door with a thick bevel edge glass and a stepped base. The brass dial has an engraved, silvered chapter ring and cherub spandrels. The 8 day ting tang movement sounds each 1/4 on two gongs and a single gong on the hour.This clock was made by the well respected German makers Lenzkirch and is numbered 989361 and dates to 1893 according to Lenzkirch serial numbering.

Current Condition

The case has been re-polished, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
