Description

A gents WW1 1916 silver trench watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The jewelled movement is stamped Swiss made.

The watch measures 34.2 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 47.5 mm high including the articulated lugs. The case is sterling silver and there are import marks for London 1916. The case has some marks but overall the condition is good for a WW1 piece. The case back has engraved monogrammed initials.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The watch has an enamel dial which is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands

A new black leather strap has been fitted.
