The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Glasgow (import mark), 1926, with a sponsor’s (importer’s) mark for James Weir of Argyle Street and Buchanan Street, Glasgow. The case is in good condition with just a little unevenness to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is in very good condition. Originally the hands would have had infill but this has fallen out or been removed over the years.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
