Description

A 1920s Longines pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which has been fully tested and is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and it has the serial number 4,801,791 which dates it back to 1928. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The nickel case is in good condition for its age with just a little gentle unevenness to the back and some light surface marks. The inside of the case back has the Longines logo with EF Co above (for Ernest Francillon, the founder of Longines).

The signed white enamel dial is in good condition and has Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes on a watch chain, 28cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
